So far our efforts have paid off. With the help of Gayle Fokken from the office of Arends and Lee we have come yet another step closer to our dream. Over the course of the last month we have had multiple meetings and countless trips and phone calls to Gayle through our efforts we received our Certificate of Existence from the Secretary of State today. Also acquired today was our tax id number. We are very excited that, despite the hours necessary, this process went quite well and is now over. On a side note we have received another donation this week and now feel that the ball is rolling and we are ready to “fetch it for fido”. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers and lets all come together to make this work. We hope to serve not only the animals but their well-trained owners. Thanks again.
Hi! I am so excited to beon your mailing list for the Humboldt County Animal Shelter although I live in Colorado! I grew up in Iowa and have such a big heart for animals. I am currently working with the Weld County Humane Society in Greeley/Evans in their fundraising arena and would love to be able to help you out, if I may. I have A LOT of family back in Humboldt and Humboldt County that I would be thrilled to ask them to help provide donations for the new shelter in Humboldt! When is the fundraiser going to take place?
